“Coating and Adhesion of Plastics for Automotive Applications”
Various materials are used in automobiles. Because various technologies are used to bond them, the adhesion of multi-materials is one challenge. On the other hand, mono-materials that can be material recycled are also being considered toward the 3Rs of materials. Despite this fluid social situation, we decided to go back to basics and have an opportunity to take a bird’s eye view of paint adhesion technologies used in automobiles, using the case of paint adhesion of difficult-to-bond polyolefins as a case study. We hope that engineers involved in the fields of material development, plastic molding and processing, and product development will attend this meeting and that it will provide a good opportunity to deepen mutual exchanges.
